Whether it’s sitting at a café in Paris watching the world go by, riding in the back of a tuk tuk through Sri Lanka, or sledding down the Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland, it’s those moments that stay with you long after you’ve unpacked your suitcase.
And there’s nothing quite like that airport feeling, suitcase packed, boarding pass in hand, waiting for your flight to whisk you away somewhere new and exciting.
With over two years in the travel industry and a genuine love of exploring the world myself, it’s so important to me to make travel possible, seamless, and truly memorable for every client I work with. Our world contains so many amazing sights, cultures and experiences. This is why I love travel, we get the chance to experience these and learn more about our world every day!
An unforgettable moment from my travels is experiencing “The Sparkle” at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Sitting on the grass with my tour group who are now lifelong friends, I remember thinking, “Is this real, or am I dreaming?” It was one of those magical “pinch-me” moments I’ll never forget and I would love to help create those moments for you.

I am passionate about getting off the beaten track, experiencing the untouched and while exploring new areas, I also love to give back to local communities, use ethical companies and only leaving a footprint.
I’m grateful to have spent a year traveling the world last year, visiting six continents and over 30 countries. I’m truly captivated by the travel bug with now over 50 countries travelled to, and can’t wait to share my insights and experiences with you to help inspire your next adventure!

As a young child I dreamt of exploration and retracing my Norwegian ancestry, so growing up I settled for watching Michael Palin’s “Around the World in 80 days” for inspiration.
Since the obligatory “OE” rite of passage in the UK and Europe after university, I’ve never stopped exploring – from solo travel and small group tours in Asia; from African safaris to small ship expeditions at the ends of the earth; from self-driving through European villages to exploring high-altitude wineries in Argentina. I’ve visited over 50 countries spread across 7 continents and spent over 20 years helping Kiwis to live out their own travel dreams.
My special interest lies in crafting unique holidays in South America and Europe and adventures on small ships to explore far flung corners of the globe.
Highlights have to be exploring both the Arctic and Antarctica on expedition ships, hiking in the Ethiopian mountains, kayaking in Alaska, and of course rediscovering our own beautiful Aotearoa on Great Walks with my family.
I’ve still got some exploring to do including Nepal, Montenegro, Tonga, Colombia, Uzbekistan and Namibia –I would love to help you tick off some of your travel wishlist.

From the beautiful islands of the Maldives to the serene jungles of Borneo, my travels have spanned over 60 countries, each with its own unique charm and adventure. I’ve explored the world both solo, driven by the thrill of discovery, and with family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
One of my most unforgettable experiences was the jungles of Borneo to witness the majestic orangutans. The sight of these magnificent creatures, swinging gracefully from tree to tree, was nothing short of magical. It was a humbling reminder of how much beauty and wonder the world still holds, even in the most remote corners of the planet.
On the other side of the spectrum, I’ve also had the joy of experiencing the magic of Disneyland in the USA with my family. Walking down Main Street, surrounded by the laughter of children and the sparkle of fairy lights, was a moment of pure joy. It wasn’t just about the rides or the parades—it was about the shared happiness, the special moments that made us all feel like kids again.
But the memories don’t stop there. Whether it was savouring street food in Thailand, exploring the ruins of ancient civilizations in Greece, or travelling through the Swiss Alps, each destination added a new layer to my understanding of the world. Every country I’ve visited has shaped me in ways I never could have predicted, pushing me out of my comfort zone and giving me a deeper appreciation for the diverse cultures, landscapes, and people that call this planet home.
